ABOUT US

Greta Kaplan has worked with dogs and their people for over two decades to address simple training assignments and complex behavior challenges.  She has maintained the Certified Dog Behavior Consultant certification from the International Association of Dog Behavior Consultants since 2006. An early student of Leslie McDevitt, she is also a Certified Control Unleashed Instructor.

Greta has lived and worked in the San Francisco Bay Area and the Portland, Oregon area. She has now returned to Oakland where she lives with her young Border Collie, Tal. Her other personal dogs have included Australian Shepherds, Border Collies, and herding breed mixes.  Greta and her dogs have participated in numerous dog sports and activities including scent work, flyball, agility, herding, obedience, rally obedience, and trick training.
