Virtual Dog Training and Behavior Consulting
Fuzzy Logic Dog LLC can provide virtual behavior consulting for most cases. This expands us beyond dog training in Portland – you get the same expertise anywhere in the world. Video meetings allow flexible scheduling and easy follow-ups, and better allow us to help pets who can’t tolerate visitors in their home.
Virtual consulting uses some combination of
- online meeting software
- text
- phone, and
- videos
to transmit information back and forth. We provide directions and support to help you with the technical part. You will need: a computer or phone to send email, text or video and a device with a camera that can be moved around (such as a smartphone, laptop, or separate camera to integrate with your online connection). That’s it!
Fixed-fee consultations and hourly packages are available depending on client needs. Please indicate in your inquiry email if you may be interested in virtual consulting for your dog or cat’s behavior issue.
Initial Behavior Consultation
Get off to the right start: All new clients will start with a two-part behavior consultation. After the first meeting, you’ll have a clear understanding of the problem, priorities, and plan. After the second meeting, you’ll know how to implement the first training steps. Handouts plus reasonable phone and email support included.
• Consultation part 1: 2-3 hours.
• Consultation part 2: 1-1.5 hours

Hourly Dog Training and Behavior Consulting Services
Follow-up coaching: We recommend that you allow us to teach your dog new skills quickly and effectively. Also available: Private coaching to teach you to train your dog. Follow-up sessions and packages are available for
- Clients who have completed an initial behavior consultation
- Clients who have a behavior plan from a veterinary behaviorist
Pre-adoption Counseling
Let us help you find the right pet: Avoid mistakes… choose well! Whether you seek to adopt a dog from a rescue organization or purchase a puppy from a breeder, many pitfalls exist. Not all Labradors or Labrador breeders are the same, and neither are all rescue organizations the same.
Flexible consulting and assessment services available. These can include:
- Identification of appropriate breed/type for your family
- Search assistance for dogs from rescues
- Search assistance for breeders and breedings
- Assessments of litters or individual adoptable puppies or dogs
- Preparing for bringing your new dog home

Fuzzy Logic will travel! Many more remote parts of northwest Oregon and southwest Washington are underserved for quality dog behavior consulting. We’ll put in the miles to bring it to you. Additional travel fee for locations more than one hour from our office.
Our primary focus is dog training in the greater Portland/Vancouver area, especially helping with serious behavior issues.
